rec50Hi! I'm Ame and I'll be doing the Gundam Wing recs. If you haven't read Gundam Wing, here is a good place to go and get some information. I've never watched the series itself, so don't feel bad about that. There are some excellent writers in this fandom, and oodles of good things to read in every one of these categories so it'll be hard picking just fifty.

Brief summary: This was the very first Gundam Wing fic I ever read and therefore holds a special place in my heart. You've got bad boy Heero sort of stalking Duo and then feelings get involved and they really love each other. The really fun part is where Heero is the one to awaken Duo's sexuality. There is some angst but it's bearable.
Here is a short excerpt:
"So, you didn't tell the priest about the doujinshi?" Heero asked as they walked along the path in the park.
Duo blushed. "You're not supposed to listen to that."
Heero shrugged. He wasn't Catholic. He'd listen if he wanted to. There was nothing Duo had told Father Riordan that surprised him. Just the usual fare of thinking angry thoughts about this person and being unkind to that person and saying something impolite about the third person. Nothing dramatic. Nothing like what he'd witnessed last night.
"Why do you think the yard looked so nice?" Duo asked.
"Aa. So you tried it?" So that was what he'd done to pay for his pleasure. Silly Catholic boy.
Duo didn't answer. "Is that what boys do with each other?" He looked at the trees, the gravel, the bushes, anywhere but Heero.
Heero chuckled. "How many boys did you see?"

Brief summary: Being a big Buffy fan I just love it when an author does vamps and other supernatural things with the Gundam Wing boys and this is the best of them. You've got Duo who's a demon hunter/P.I., Wufei and Trowa as weres, and Heero as the master vampire and Quatre as his second. There's a mystery, sex, supernatural happenings and oh yeah, did I mention the sex?

"What are you doing?" Duo asked furiously when Heero refused to loosen the arm he had around Duo.
"What am I doing?" Heero repeated. That was another very annoying habit the vampire had. "I woke up when the grip you had on my arm became painful, Duo," he said. "As soon as I retrieved my arm, you latched onto me," he continued with a smirk.
"Uh huh," Duo said doubtfully. "Do you MIND?"
Heero sighed. "It's just as well, I'm hungry. And if I'm hungry, you must be ravenous."
Duo's hand immediately flew to his neck. Heero seemed to find that very amusing. The vampire somehow managed to move down on the bed so that Duo stayed exactly where he was, but was now looking directly into Heero's face.
"No, Duo, I didn't intend to feed on you." A pause. "Unless you're offering?" His tone was teasing.
Duo grunted. "You wish. Let me up."
