Brief summary: This is basically a PWP but what is interesting is it manages to cram a lot of the fandom cliches about physical appearance and sex in there over the course of the story. It even adds in some other cliches about first-times too. Whilst it is essentially it's all about sex it does tackle some slightly deeper issues, especially toward the end of the story.

Brief summary: Whilst this is an AU story it illustrates the metaphor as Ray bringing light into Fraser's life well. The dialogue might not work with me all the time but the characterisation is fine for an AU. It's sappy and very much romantic but it's a nice story whose obvious metaphor of light works well.
