I like how this story addresses several of the issues contingent upon Ronon's joining the team; at this point, he's still an unknown entity and not yet entirely trusted by Sheppard and co., while on his part, he's feeling his way around a new society after being on the run for seven years. The conversation between Ronon and John nicely highlights the wariness each of them feels, while also showing the understanding and camaraderie that's begun to develop among them and Rodney and Teyla.
