Sharp Edges, The Space Between
Harry Potter slash rarepairs master table
Claim: Harry Potter - slash rarepairs
Title: Sharp Edges
Author:
minerva_fan
Characters: Pince/Sprout
Prompt: Epiphany
Rating: PG
Length: Medium (~1000 words)
Brief summary: Madam Pince's library is a place of neatness and order. Professor Sprout's greenhouses - are not. This story shows what happens when brittle boundaries are smudged.
She watched the woman entering the library. A round thing, not sharp edged, hardly practical. She waddled, Pince noticed. Waddled with mud on her shoes. No. No mud this time. Her shoes were clean. She smiled all the time. It unnerved her to see someone so positive, so cheerful, so messily emotional and recklessly joyful. She didn’t remember ever in her life being so…careless with her happiness.

Title: The Space Between (What's Wrong and Right)
Author:
judyhazeleyes
Characters: Tonks/Hooch
Prompt: Time
Rating: NC-17
Length: Long (~2200 words)
Brief summary: Tonks isn't very good at Quidditch, but she plays anyway. Hooch has an inconvenient sense of calendars and propriety, but a deadline can turn even the impossible into something simply delayed. Warning for cross-generational pairing.
There was something beyond petulance in Tonks’s voice, although it wasn’t the hurt Hooch had expected; her blazing eyes, the set of her jaw, all spoke of a fierce determination Hooch didn’t quite understand. “Is that why you’re here?” She asked more gently, her head cocked to one side in genuine curiosity. “To prove something to yourself? Because I hate to be so blunt, but you’re a bloody awful Quidditch player, Tonks. And I don’t know that practice is going to help that much.”
