Title: None of These Will Bring Disaster
Author: Propaganda (
notpoetry)
Characters: Tim Drake, Robin, Kon-El
Prompt: 44. Mask
Rating: Adult
Length: Short (3000 words)
Brief summary: Oh, creepy and wrong (and HOT)! Tim is highly adept at compartmentalization. This is how he applies it to his identites. The freakiness of it would break Kon's brain, if it weren't for the orgasms.

"I thought you were a ghost," Dick said from the stairs.
Tim looked around and up. "Hmm?"
"The cowl."
"Oh!" Tim started to pull it off. "I'd forgotten I had it on."
"No," Dick said quickly. "Leave it."
Tim blinked. "Dick?"
"Just for a moment. Just let me..."
"Dick..."
"Hearing you. On the comlink. You sounded just like him."
Dick was so close now. He was still in the Nightwing suit and Tim could smell him. "I'm not-"
"I know you're not him. I'm not asking you to be him."
Tim stood up. "Dick."
If he tried, tried very hard, he could imagine they were somewhere else. Somewhere where Bruce wasn't watching them through the empty cowl in the case.
But maybe that was the point.

Robin wakes up at the first touch of Kon's fingers on his cheek, but he doesn't move, just breathes a little faster as Kon runs his wet fingertips along the edge of the mask. And when Kon loosens it and grips the edge of the mask between his thumb and his forefinger, he lets out a tiny smile, and nods his head, like he's giving Kon permission.
And Kon pulls the mask away, fully expecting to see Tim smiling back at him.
But it's just Robin.
