Rating:Naughty -- I'd say R for the end of chapter 1
Length: Medium
Brief summary: In a series of vignettes spanning ten years, Draco and Ginny form an enduring friendship, which eventually leads to more. Drugged confessions, Playstation abuse, weddings, Christmas shopping, blind dates, stripteases, an exploding wand, and R/Hr on the side. I chose this one because you really believe that the two of them have been just good friends for years with NOTHING between them, and then you see how it was always there seething under the surface... but they didn't realise it until later!
"I'm a Slytherin. If we're nice, we lose house points."
She threw it into the flames and raised a fist in the air. "As God is my witness, I'll never wear granny knickers again!"
Draco Malfoy then had a brilliant, ludicrous, completely barking mad and yet fun thought. "So, you want to be friends?" "I guess we already are." Ginny seemed thoughtful for a moment, then a decidedly evil smile crept over her face. "Just think how many people we can piss off in one blow."

Brief summary: Post-Hogwarts. Ginny Weasley Potter has gone through a string of men, even suffering through a stint being married to the Savior of the Wizarding World. She keeps her pain bottled up inside, until when she finally snaps, she does something drastic that changes her world forever. (Harry/Ginny, Harry/Hermione, Draco/Ginny, Neville/Pansy) This is the first D/G fic I ever read -- it got me into the fandom... so consider yourself lucky I am reccing it to you now that it's finally finnished! Probably one of my absolute favourites (if not FAVOURITE) so I encourage the read. Harry is a real git... along with Hermione... so if you hate H/Hr (as much as I usually do -- be wary)
She plodded into the kitchen, and her happiness didn’t fade even the slightest when her eyes fell on Harry, sitting rigidly in one of the chairs at the table.
“Good morning,” she said brightly, pulling the coffee from the cabinet. He glared at her.
“And that’s all you’ve got to say to me,” he snapped. “Is good morning?”
“Why, Harry? Aren’t you having a good morning?” she asked, smiling. His scowl deepened.
“What’s come over you, Gin? You’re acting as though our marriage meant nothing at all to you.”
“I beg your pardon,” she said calmly, inhaling the aroma of the coffee brewing. “But I think that you’re the one who acted as though our marriage meant nothing. After all, you’re the one who had the affair, not me, remember?”
“Do you know that Ron won’t even accept my owls now?” he demanded.
“Won’t he?” she asked, genuinely surprised. “Imagine that – him siding with his sister over his friend.”
Harry’s eyes narrowed. “You’re acting oddly this morning – even for you. What’s happened?”
“Absolutely nothing,” she said innocently, pouring herself a cup of coffee. “Isn’t a girl allowed to be happy now and then?”
“Of course, but there has to be a reason you’re so … so… chipper.”
“Nothing in particular,” she said, shrugging. She sipped at the steaming liquid, found it wanting, and stirred in another teaspoonful of sugar. She wasn’t about to tell him that shagging Malfoy had somehow seemed to purge her of all the emptiness and anger that had been building up since that night she’d seen him in the arms of another woman. What good would it do to antagonize him further, when he was doing a decent job of antagonizing himself?
