Today is my brother’s 50^th birthday, so I figured it would be an auspicious day to start my 50 recs quest. So, let’s get the ball rolling!   Sadly, this is only the third time someone has done a Rec50 on The Sentinel. Which is a shame, because we have a rich and varied fandom. I’ve tried to provide a rich and varied selection.  I hope you enjoy these stories as much as I have.  If you do, please take a little time and provide feedback to the authors. You will make their day!

Then there’s the guy with the tattoo on his dick. . .

Brief summary: Time goes by as Jim and Blair discover they are in love. Along the way we learn a lot about the three characters whose lives intertwine: Naomi, Blair and Jim. We also learn a lot about any number of holidays as they celebrate everything from Beltane to Yom Kippur.

This has to be the ultimate Naomi as mother-in-law story.  She swoops in and pulls Jim into *her* tribe and he willingly goes. This is one of my all-time favorite stories to re-read. I hope you feel the same.
