Claim: Doctor Who, general series
Prompt: 5 - Sex
Title: Life Begins At Forty
Author: nostalgia
Rating: R
Length: medium
Brief summary: Ten/Jackie is a pairing that has so much potential, yet it's hard to find. Here, Jackie gets her one of her rare chances to shag an alien. Because for every thousand or so Ten/Rose fics, there should be at least one Ten/Jackie, right? Especially if they get into her head even half this well.

Title: Seven Words and a Metaphor
Author: [livejournal.com profile] lizbee
Rating: PG-13
Length: medium
Brief summary: It's the Eighth Doctor and Romana II, arguing a bit and dancing and discussing metaphors. This story is mostly dialogue, so it's a good thing it all works so well. Lots of clever lines.

Prompt: 41. Guilt.
Title: "Eyes in a moon of blindness"
Author: [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]
Rating: R
Length: long
Brief summary: Bad things happen to the people in Bruce's life. He can't forget it, or the guilt that he feels because of it. Dick does what he can to help, though it might not be enough. The fic has a great moody tone and offers no resolutions. Very much worth a read.

Title: . . . Who Burned Like Starfire
Author: Nemo the Everbeing
Rating: G
Length: medium
Brief summary: It's Ace's birthday, and the Seventh Doctor takes her to see a hypernova. In the process, Ace gains a new understanding of the Doctor. A lovely study of one of the best Doctor/companion teams ever.

Title: Homecoming
Author: Kazzy
Rating: PG
Length: medium
Brief summary: When people stop travelling with the Doctor and return home, what happens to them? It's a good question that provides tons of fanfic potential, like in this story. After their time with the First Doctor ends, Ian and Barbara find that picking up with their old lives just isn't possible. It sounds like a recipe for angst, and there is some of that, but ultimately the tone is hopeful.
