Quiet and painful and sad, this little fic manages to hit just the right note with their relationship, and with Hurley's self-image and perception of the curse that surrounds him. This is a long and multi-chaptered fic (I linked to the index). So it really takes it's time to explore the new dynamic and the differences in both of their worlds. It's fantastic! And it should be read immediately.
