Brief summary: The story is very much based on loss, and eventually having to move on. It begins with Rory losing his mother and needing to decide where to go from there. But of course, along with the family drama, this is a slash fic. With plenty of teenage angst and romance. The story kind of reminds me of a soap opera, in the best ways. Always a new plot development, always a new twist. Fun way to spend a couple of hours.
