Brief summary: Again with me playing with the meaning of prompts.

Look, a lot of people write rape fic. Most write it starting with the actual trauma, this one is non depicted, but she makes it work. She more than makes it work. No other rape fic I have ever read is just so SPOT ON. And you find yourself wanting more, more, more in this universe. It's not raw - well it is but not in an immediately apparent way - but it just feels so true and you get caught up in it. I dare you not to feel what John and Rodney feel. Seriously, don't take my word for it. Read, read, read.

Title: The Origin of All Things
Author: [livejournal.com profile] iloveatlantis
Characters: SG1 and SGA ensembles
Prompt: 33 - Crossover
Rating: R
Length: epic (WARNING: WIP)
Brief summary: First, I love a good epic and there are far too few in SGA. Next, you have to love SG1 and SGA crossovers that aren't superficial, but actually very interconnected and you can't get more interconnected then Daniel/Radek. Third - time travel. I have a thing. I admit it. Fourth, where she is going with this I just... I love. Fifth, it doesn't fall into the category of "audience knows what's going to happen and the characters take forever or are too stupid to realize" or the category of "characters make too meany leaps to get to their conclusion" it's a nice progression.

Finally, she has talent. There is telling but not like 12 year old writing, it's writing that you just don't notice because you're discovering the story which takes talent.
