BIG DAMN TABLE.
Claim: X-Men Movieverse, Rogue
Title: "Raincheck"
Author: JJBlazer at Blazeplace and
jjblazer.
Characters: Wolverine, Rogue
Prompt: 31. Discovery
Rating:
Length: medium
Brief summary: What if Rogue and Logan hadn't met in Laughlin City, but had ended up both working for Professor Xavier separately? And what if Rogue, you know, ran over Logan with her car? Fun, light-hearted fic about mutants working as spies, rainy nights in motel rooms, and a pair of handcuffs. Are you convinced yet? Go, read!
He located her purse and threw it at her. "Find me your car keys. And grab your stuff. You’re coming with me."
Marie blinked at him, the initial shock at his aggressive behavior giving way to outrage. "So this is the thanks I get for scraping your ass off the highway? You’re kidnapping me?"
"You ran over me. Consider it payback." He glanced at her feet. "Get your shoes on. We’re leaving, now."
She barely had a chance to jam her shoes on her feet, making a grab for the straps of her two bags at the last second as he drug her out the door. Slamming her inside her car after neatly sidestepping her attempt to trip him and dodging the small fist aimed at his chin, he climbed in and started it up.

Title: "Slow Revival"
Author: M Jules at
mjules.
Characters: Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit, Jean
Prompt: 33. Crossover
Rating: PG-13
Length: long (series)
Brief summary: Okay, so this is kind of a stretch as a "crossover," but it's a mish-mash of Movieverse Rogue and Wolverine in a more of a comicsverse setting. Rogue and Wolverine find their ways to each other, after making stops at Gambit and Jean, respectively. This series charts character growth and motivations, and shows us why these two people could make it work together, out of all the other crazy mutants at Xavier's. Also, shallowly, I really like the title of part 1: "Lovers Less Wild."
