My Rec50 Table
Claim: Popslash - NSYNC/BSB Crossover
Title: "I Feel Like"
Author: Northern
Characters: Brian Littrell, Chris Kirkpatrick
Prompt: Fandom Cliche
Rating: NC17
Warnings: //
Length: Short story
Brief summary: Brian is not gay. He does not know what exactly conveys "gay" in the real world. Chris is an experience equal opportunity lover. And in the end, JC's shaken up. Yeah, that about covers the cliche part of the picture. It's a cute and funny story that provides just enough sexiness without going over the top.
Brian seems to snap out of it. "No," he says slowly. "No, I just wasn't... expecting to see anyone I knew here."
"I bet you weren't," Chris says. He's a little amused by it all. Brian Littrell sitting in plain sight in a gay bar. "Nice little boybanders shouldn't be seen in places like this." He raises his eyebrows. "Or maybe your management is more forgiving?"
Brian looks a little confused. "What?" he says. "It's a bar. Is Lou forbidding you to drink, now?"

Title: "A Friend Thing"
Author: Lucy
Characters: Lance Bass, Howie Dorough, JC Chasez, AJ McLean
Prompt: Epiphany
Rating: PG
Warnings: //
Length: Short story
Brief summary: When one leads a busy life, one needs friends to get them through it. Lance and Howie have found comfort in each other's friendship but for Lance, that's all it is. But with a little help from a guy (what's his name again?), AJ, and JC, Lance realizes that maybe, just maybe, he needs something a little stronger than friendship.
"So, you called? Is something going on?"
"No, not really. I just wondered if maybe you wanted to have a late supper again tonight. I've had a boring day and didn't get one useful thing accomplished, and Justin keeps telling me about this Thai place that sounds truly frightening, and I need someone brave to go with me and try it out."
"Oh, um," Howie said. "I can't."
"Oh. You have to work?"
"Um, no. Actually, I have a date tonight."
